KeepMore ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used when you use our tax scenario simulator at keepmore.app (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• →Account information: Your email address, collected when you create an account via Firebase Authentication.
• →Tax scenario inputs: Income figures, filing status, deduction amounts, and other numbers you enter. These are stored in your private Firestore document and are never shared.
• →Payment information: Processed entirely by Paddle.com. We do not receive, store, or process your card number or banking details — only a transaction confirmation and email.
• →Usage data: Anonymous analytics (page views, feature interactions) may be collected to improve the product.
• →Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.

2. How We Use Your Information

• →To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
• →To save and retrieve your tax scenario inputs across sessions.
• →To verify payment status and grant access to paid features.
• →To send transactional emails (e.g. payment confirmation, account recovery).
• →To improve the accuracy and usefulness of the Service.
• →To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

4. Data Storage & Security

Your tax inputs are stored in Google Firebase Firestore in a private document accessible only to your authenticated account. We implement HTTPS encryption in transit and Firebase security rules to prevent unauthorised access.

No security system is impenetrable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your authentication session, remember your preferences, and collect anonymous analytics. Paddle may set its own cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

7. Your Rights

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
